Buying and owning horses can earn you a well-deserved trip to www.debtsettlementfamily.com if you’re not careful – it’s an expensive hobby. Here are a few ways horse lovers tend to waste money and some suggestions for saving a few bucks of the cost of owning one of nature’s most majestic animals:
Don’t Stable: If you can possibly swing it, keep the horse on your own land. Stabling is the single biggest cost associated with horse ownership and if you’ve got the land and means to let your horse roam, do so. If you don’t, talk to a local farmer or horse owner who pastures their own horses about how much they’d charge to let you keep your animal on their land.
Forget Expensive Feed: Like any pet industry, horse feed prices have gotten exorbitant. The happiest horses eat natural hay and grass and they don’t need tons of vitamins and supplements like many vets will have you believe. If your horse is healthy and happy, keep him on the basic stuff.
Care for Him Yourself: Owning a horse is a big responsibility so if you can’t commit the time to caring for your animal DAILY then reconsider the proposition. Having someone else care for your animal is the fastest way to the poorhouse.

If you are looking for a one of a kind place to see marine life, such as Whales and Dolphins, look no further than Southern, California. Near the Los Angeles area, searching for marine life has became a popular sport. Blue Whales are coming in record number. More so than previous years, people are spotting these wonderful creatures. They actually have dolphin and whale safaris here, because of the immense number of sightings.

If one is willing to make the journey, Sri Lanka has some of the best whale and dolphin watching around. Situated on a protected area of the Indian Ocean, this area is prime for marine life. Reported sightings of Brydes Whales, Sperm Whales, Fin Whales and the Killer Whale are all possible. If you are looking for dolphins, the following have been spotted: Bottlenose dolphin, Spotted Dolphin, Striped Dolphin, Spinner Dolphin, Fraser’s Dolphin and Risso’s Dolphin.

It is easy to see why so many are enjoying the hobby of searching for marine life. These sea creatures remind us of what really lies beneath the ocean surface. Everything about them is a mystery, from the way they communicate to the way they reproduce. The next time you are planning one of your vacations, look no further than one of theses two amazing areas.

Ever wonder what adventures lie under the deep blue sea? The best way to envelope yourself into this new majestic water world is to get certified in scuba diving. There are several popular options for learning to explore our underwater world and fortunately some of the best (and cheapest) occur in beautiful tropical locations. Whether its taking the plunge in Honduras, exploring the Blue Hole in Belize, or marveling at the marine diversity in SE Asia there are numerous tropical locations to learn scuba diving.
One of my personal favorites is a little island called Koh Tao in southern Thailand. This island produces thousands of new certified divers every year for a low cost, so dive operations are experts at teaching new students. But don’t think you are just there to get a certificate! Koh Tao offers stunning dive spots with blue tropical water, sea turtles, whale sharks, vibrant corals, sea horses, and so much more that will leave you hooked on scuba diving. After your dives out on the water share your adventures with other excited divers from around the world at Koh Tao’s numerous beaches, bars, and restaurants. Koh Tao island is a new diver’s paradise! Happy Diving!

Waikiki Beach is one of the best places for a beginner to learn to surf. The waves there are easy to catch, and there are many instructors to help you get going. The instructors there have an excellent way of getting a novice surfer up and riding a wave within a few minutes. The waves that roll up to the beach are slow and rolling. Lessons start on the beach, where surfers are taught how to paddle out and pop up to catch a wave. Last but not least, Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places on Earth!

If you’re on the East Coast, Florida has some of the best beaches to offer. Miami Beach and Cocoa Beach all offer gentle waves. The water is usually warm and the weather is mostly nice and sunny. These both make excellent spots for a beginner to learn.

Or you may choose to head over to the West Coast and soak up some California sun. At Newport Beach, the University of California Irvine hosts beginning surf classes. Between the pier and the first jetty, there are plenty of great beginner breaks. Another great surf spot in California is “Campus Point’ at the campus of UCSB in Santa Barbara. There are often easy rolling waves there, and in the summer they offer surf camps for kids and grownups.

Going on vacation or even visiting a local beach in your area means collections shells and finding sand dollars to display or give as gifts. Some of the best places to find these treasures are on the coastlines of Florida, California
and New Mexico. You will find a wide variety of seashells, conchshells and many more while sunbathing or walking along the shoreline(s). Each day you will find a different but unique selection of shells that range in size from a small seashell to a large shell that could hold a small plant. Florida attracts many northern visitors in the winter months and they take home these treasures as a momento of their visit. As well, California and New Mexico shorelines have great beaches where you can find many more seashells and starfish to give as gifts to family and friends. Virginia Beach is another fantastic place to find and collect shells and sand dollars. Even while travelling to the Caribbean, Jamaica or Australia, you will find a variety of seashells and sand dollars of different types and sizes. No matter what state you live in or visit, finding seashells will be a treasure in itself for everyone in your family.
